If you people knows me well enough, should know that the cartoon character i love most is the “Mermaid”. I’ve watched 2 version, one from movie (disneyland) and another on channel 8. -if i’m not wrong is children day special.
The one shown on movie got a happy ending. but the one shown on channel 8 got a sad ending.
Sadly, the myth/legend of the mermaid got a sorrow ending. This mermaid is a danish lady. She lives in copenhagen. And kena murdered a few times. I mean the statue la. Poor thing right? Statue also want to vandalise. Anyway this mermaid is a symbol of copenhagen-denmark.
I wanted to meet her badly. We took the river cruise that cost about 15-20 singapore dollars. And we dint get to see her face but her butt. Haha. This set of colleagues quite adventurous, we rented bicycle to explore. The bicycle there not easy to ride. And you know la. i’m darn weak, cannot cycle far. so my poor buddy had to pillion me most of the time.

I’ll start off by telling u all the price of the coke light at the manchester’s convenient store. It cost 1.20pounds = to roughly S$3.60. Expensive! The things there are super duper expensive.
I was in my hotel room thinking whether to spend 15pounds(S$45) on the internet access for a day. Thinking and thinking.. “Eunice! u know 45bucks is about equal to 1 turnaround allowance?” so my consious told me not to. And i saved S$45.
As usual, after touched down i took a nap and went out to makan. So we decided to dine at one of the restaurant @ the manchester’s chinatown. Along the way there are some nice nice unique building.
This is one of them. look at the tree! So healthy right? haha

Alright! here we are at chinatown.
I ate the beef horfun.. spend 8pounds for this. yucks! bu hao chi de. i must emphasis again. THE THINGS HERE ARE SO EXPENSIVE!!! (8pounds = S$24)
So the next day, i got this very very nice colleague name doris brought me go sight-see.. initially we wanted to go to the manchester united’s stadium. Some1 said that it was close due to match. I was so dissapointed cause i wanna go there take a picture.
Guess what? Doris and friend suggested going to liverpool! I was darn happy. no Manchester United, Liverpool also nice. So we bought the train ticket and went to liverpool stadium.. Was drizzling then raining quite badly. So sad! So cold!
Here we are at the manchester’s train station. Doris my senior. petite and pretty! She reminds me of the ayumi hamasaki.

We saw a bunch of liverpool’s fan. dressing up as superheros and some famous cartoon character heading to liverpool stadium.
There are 5 of us. 2 liverpool fanatic behind.

Over there at liverpool stadium is darn happening la! They got match too.. 2 lucky chap bought the liverpool match tix @ original price 32pound from this guy whom his son couldnt make it. LUCKY RIGHT? So we also try our luck getting the tix. some offer 50pound, some offer 100pound. Of course we not so gong la.. darn ex u know? if convert to singapore dollars.
I sort of like give up the idea of watching the match. When the match was about to start, suddenly people approach us whether we want the tix at 50pounds? we were saying “sorry, we only willing to offer 15pounds and we wanted to sit together.” The man agreed and ask us to wait down the road to avoid police.
He came and show us the seat number on the ticket.. and took away the tickets and wanted us to give him the money.. so we gave him 15pounds each. he said “NO! is 50pounds!” We said “no. we want it 15pounds.” so we sort of like wanted to give up the ticket by taking our money back. the man said “alright, take the ticket and go go go.”
Therefore we faster head to the entrance of the stadium. TO OUR HORROR! is a FRAUD ticket! ARGH (that’s why in my previous picture i said that it was REAL ticket that i’m holding on) i got the fake ones. so sad! and i can use that to serve internet in my hotel room. ( = 1 turnaround trip gone)
Well anyway! life goes on…
Still can smile and go back to manchester.
Haha.. So everyone knows about the incident i encountered. As i mentioned eariler. “what to do? life goes on.”
So the next day. Onboard my boss said “Eunice, i help u make up your 15pounds. MARK VIDUKA is onboard.”
ARRRRRRRrrrr MARK VIDUKA! The middlebrough striker. hah!
Afterall my trip is not that wasted. my 15 pounds jus take it as i took a picture with MARK VIDUKA. haha By the way when i was at the liverpool station, i went into the casino take a look and took 1 cookie bar.. i guess it cost about 1 pound la. haha So 15pounds – 1pound = 14pounds.
This trip is full of football craze. Almost everything is associate with the football. Ups and downs too.. At least i still end up happily taking picture with MARK VIDUKA! Forgot to mention that his wife is darn pretty, kids are cute.

Moral of the story: “nothing is cheap in this world. nothing is free in this world. So save the greed!”

Just came back from manchester this morning. Is a very great experience. Will blog about my experience and trip there once i got the photos. I promise you that it will be a very interesting post. (maybe to me it is interesting) J- aka one of my favourite batchmate —> i’m sure it will be better then the cola post.
Tired tired..
Nowadays i don’t feel good. Feeling that life is kind of meaningless with so many rules and regulation. If don’t follow the rules and regulation of life, here is where concious takes place. Don’t feel good either. Either this or that, you still can’t lead a happier life.
Tell me where can i get a politically right answer?

Feeling helpless and depress.
According to the new airport rules in most of the country, Liquid stuff is not allowed. And in australia’s airport, food must be declared.That time was at Melbourne. I declared my chocolate bonjour bread loaf, corn snacks and potatoe chips. So happily i got thru. I forgotten to bring water.
So when i reached the hotel, was quite hungry so i took some bread. Was so thirsty that i cant control myself from touching the hotel minibar. So i took a few sip of diet coke. And my intention was “aiya later go 7-11 buy the same 1 and put back.” (mini bar items usually cost more). I always do this.. took something from the mini bar and replenish.
I went out after a nap. Searching for the diet coke i took it from the mini bar. The diet coke i took is in a glass bottle 300ml. Those i saw in convenience store is plastic bottle 350ml. DIE LIAO! i cant get the similar one. This means i had to pay for that diet coke i took from the mini bar.
I went to settle the bill at the hotel. TO MY HORROR. A 300ML DIET COKE GLASS BOTTLE COST ME AUS$5.50. My colleague was complaining that she also got this bad experience that she thought the EVIAN placed beside her bed was complimentary drink. After she took a few sip, she then saw the price AUS$6.00. She regretted. By the way i also regretted. The most expensive diet coke i had so far. With that amount, i can buy a few bars of chocolate.

Hi Everyone i am diet coke! I’m special cause i’m in a glass bottle not plastic which u can find it easily at any store. I cost AUS$5.50.
Yesterday was darn tired. Woke up early in the morning like 5am to prepare for work. Was feeling kind of sick. A little flu.
Was at the control centre and it was like a mini 897 gathering. haha Saw Dennis 1st then meshell, followed by xiao bai and yvonne. Sometime u know junior like us dont get to see familar faces. Great to start a day like this.
Really appreciate the help of tiantian to help me check the information. Paiseh ar, for all the trouble. So good can travel to phuket.. I also want to travel with my frens and love ones… 
Felt kind of bored now. Thinking of getting a PSP hehe to keep me company. Sian. Nothing to do like kept thinking how to spend money liddat. Still saving for a new lappy.
Dear was great.. picking me up from work. sending me to work. Kept me company with all the time he had. I know he is tired after guard duty. I appreciate all the effort he made. How i wish everytime got people come to pick me up from work. (greedy me)
Lalala i’m feeling sick n tired. i go get some rest now. SAD not much good off days in SG for this roster.
